Delta Current was founded by Lauren Loisel, a national political strategist with deep Southern roots. She previously served as Chief Digital Strategy Officer for Dialogue Digital and now leads digital communications, creator engagement, and content strategy for Mayor-elect Helena Moreno’s historic New Orleans campaign and transition. Her work has helped raise millions online, build trusted brands from the ground up, and flip some of the toughest districts in the country.

Helena Moreno for Mayor
We partnered with Mayor-Elect Helena Moreno to run one of the most effective, community-driven digital operations New Orleans has seen in a decade. From early message development to election-night turnout, our strategy centered local voices, cultural storytelling, and a clear vision for a safer, stronger, more service-oriented city.
Our work elevated Helena’s record, cut through misinformation, and helped power a historic citywide mandate that reset the direction of New Orleans. Alongside digital strategy, we led the full creative direction of the campaign - from graphic design to rally signage - building a unified visual identity that energized supporters online and on the ground.
Now, as her transition continues, our digital and creative programs are helping shape public understanding and momentum around the “New Direction NOLA” agenda.
Aimee McCarron for City Council
Delta Current supported Aimee McCarron through a highly competitive District A runoff race with sharp issue-driven messaging, clean visual branding, and a disciplined digital content cadence that highlighted her strengths as a budget expert and full-time advocate for the district.
Our strategy helped Aimee consolidate support across neighborhoods, elevate her voice in a crowded media landscape, and keep voters plugged into early-vote and GOTV updates. The results speak for themselves: Aimee surged in the runoff, built a strong coalition, and positioned herself as a serious, solutions-driven leader for District A.
Dustin Granger for Louisiana
We supported Dustin’s efforts with messaging strategy and creative content production that amplified his populist economic message. As the constitutional amendments approached, our digital strategy focused on exposing the truth behind the GOP’s tax scheme and making the stakes crystal clear for everyday Louisianians.
No On All 4
In March 2025, Louisiana voters overwhelmingly rejected four misleading constitutional amendments; dealing a major blow to Governor Jeff Landry’s agenda. It was a stunning and unexpected result.
And we helped make it happen.
With $0 in paid media and minimal institutional support, we leaned on smart digital strategy, creative storytelling, and trusted messengers to build one of the most effective grassroots movements Louisiana has seen in years.
Young Democrats of Louisiana
After the 2024 Presidential election, our founder — as Communications Chair of YDL — immediately pivoted the organization’s digital focus to cover Governor Landry’s rushed tax session. That rapid response work laid the groundwork for what would become one of the most trusted and effective youth-led digital programs in Louisiana.
